DAYCARE/PRESCHOOL and OOSC/JR KINDER PROGRAM:
5 Days a Week
MONDAY TO THURSDAY 6:30am to 6:00pm FRIDAY 6:30am to 5:30pm FEES: $250 to $499 /month parent portion (*see explanation and examples below) *Meals and snacks are included in the daycare program fees for our preschool aged children. *We do not provide options for meals and snacks for our Jr Kindergarten aged children. |
PRECHOOL and JR KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM:
5 Days a Week (September 3rd, 2024 to June 25th, 2025)
MONDAY TO THURSDAY 8:20am to 3:00pm FRIDAY 8:20am to 1:00pm FEES: $250/month minimum parent portion (*see explanation and examples below) *Meals and snacks are NOT included in the preschool program fees, but may be provided for an additional cost. *We do not provide options for meals or snacks for children in our Jr Kindergarten programs. |
*The above monthly fees are the parent portion after the Affordability Grant is applied. Subsidy will be applied to the fees after subsidy amount is approved and determined. The Affordability Grant will be adjusted depending on your subsidy approval amount. For subsidy applications, apply for your child as a daycare child for both the Preschool and
Jr Kindergarten programs, as this is what your child is considered in our program under their categories.
EXAMPLES:
1. (with full subsidy approval) : $1125 (full daycare fee) -$266 (full subsidy) = $859 - $250 (required parent fee) =$609 (Affordability Grant coverage amount)
2. (with no subsidy approval) : $1125 (full daycare fee) - $499 (required parent fee) =$626 (FULL Affordability Grant coverage)
3. (with no subsidy approval) : $750 (JrK/Preschool fee) - $250 (required parent fee) =$500 (Affordability Grant coverage amount)

Subsidy through Alberta Child and Youth Services is available to families who's combined annual income is less than $180,000. Please visit the Subsidy Website by clicking here for more details on qualifications and how to apply.
You will need line 50 from your latest Notice of Assessment to apply.
Example: If you make $140,000 combined income then for 100 hours per month of preschool you would receive a subsidy of $200 per month based on the below chart. However, if you are enrolled only 12 hours per week (~48 hours per month) then the subsidy you will receive is 48/100( $200 x0.48) = $96.00
